Lets face it , There is not that much heavy lifting involved 😕 …………… Just sitting on our fat arses 12 hours a day 😯

It should be compulsory to have a woman apprentice on every ROV job…i think they are ideally suited to easy going environment….and would love the ‘work’

I have worked with several over the years, mostly techs. Two of them were supervisors. One did her job very well and one…not so much. They were at SS7 and OI.

I wouldn’t say the amount of women is large 😉
The only two I’ve met in 15 years have already been mentioned…

I knew the lad y from (Covus) GeoSubsea when I worked on Malampaya…think she was night shift supervising then; Boy she could down the SML’s 🙂

There is a delectable norvern sweaty-sock working for OI as a TDU tech usually around the Egypt area…

That’s it – rather poor show me thinks!

I never cease to learn new things ,
Each ROV is different , Each manufacturer has it’s quirks , I know a few but not all and I know more about some than others 😯
So As a wise man once said ,
Never run past a corner , walk and Look first 😉

In Oceaneering Norway there are:
1 female supervisor
4 female p/t
1 female trainee

Also there should be at least 1 female aprentice aswell.
