Well Star its a while since you worked Felxjet2?

It hasn’t had the Perry innards for about 6 years?
It was upgraded to new control system built by Sonsub Italy.

The Innovator is a much better workhorse than the Xl by miles.
Well that’s my biased point of view. And I’m sticking to it.
And now the new 250hp version is in production again Sonsub or sorry Saipem UK Sonsub Division lead the way in Work class vehicles.

Before we get into a debate on it’s just an Xl copy. You will have to look deeper than the skin. See the beauty from inside. So the control console looks like apery but that was just so you Perry guys wouldn’t feel to left out when you upgraded to class.
As For MRV well that’s something you like or hate. I have had my share of them as well.
Sliders for me are parts for ice cream cones…….

    nosub.

Hope my first post didnt up set you………

    Done time on the following;

SCV with tool skid ….. MOST versatile & RELIABLE
    Magnum ………………. good simple kit
Minimum ………………. do not add to water
    Millenium ………………. why?
Hercules ………………. Dakota of the rov’s
Mohican ( elec ) ………. magic lill’ worker!! It won me over.
    Comanche (elec) ……….. again, why?
    Cheese-from-Hell ………… say no more

Quest ……………….. greatfully didn’t work on it. Saw it demoralise many good crew.

Innovator 250 ….. it has potential to be as good as the SCV.
Time will tell if all the bells n whistles can integrate.

    So, whatUsay?

I have to agree with Nosub, Innovators are the Dogs Bollocks of work class Rov’s – yes I’m slightly biased – but they put the ticks in all the right boxes.

Your Triton’s come a very close second follwed by all the rest.
As for MR V’s, they should have held the title for longer than 5 minutes but were, sorry, are far to maintenance intensive for the construction game. It took the best part of 10 years for Slingsby to come up with a solution for dodgy feed back pots in the proulsion sytem, and that meant a lot of hours on down time!

As for the vehicles that were the most fun, it has to be the old underpowered nodding donkey……Challengers…….

    Regards

Sorry guy and gals, got to agree with the Beeman, give me a Scorpio any day, simple, easy to fix, reliable (well my one was!!!).

Worked on 24 different systems in the last 18 odd years, eyeballs to workclass to trenching and yer can’t beat the old Scorpio.

Beeman, your not building a plane by any chance???

    Got to agree with nosub……

Innovators are by far the dogs bollocks of the Workclass rov’s. As for the MRV’s….. They should be used for 1 thing only….. SCRAP!
